One of our expertise is also cutting and slitting of different types of materials \u2013 foams, self adhesives, double sided adhesive tapes, various types of rubber and plastic foils as well as certain fabrics.<\/p>\n

According to the material properties and the customer specific requirements, an array of different techniques and equipment is used. Roughly speaking, we deal with three main types of material processings \u2013\u00a0slitting<\/strong>,\u00a0die cutting<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0kiss cutting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The type and thickness of material determines whether slitting, die cutting or kiss cutting should be employed.<\/p>\n

The process of\u00a0slitting<\/strong>\u00a0is used to cut a log-roll of material into into a number of narrower coils whereas\u00a0die cutting<\/strong>\u00a0is performed to cut out products with the use of cutting blades. In\u00a0kiss cutting<\/strong>, various tool are used to cut the top layer of a material without cutting through an attached material. In this process, the outline material (usually adhesive-backed foils or papers) of the product can be cut only to particular depth without cutting the release or backing material.\u00a0In most cases, a combination of cutting techniques is employed<\/strong>. The most appropriate techniques are talked over with customers in advance, with regard to their application needs.<\/p>\n

Zelo pomembno podro\u010dje na\u0161ega delovanja predstavljata razrez in izsek razli\u010dnih materialov \u2013 penastih, samolepilnih, dvostranskih lepilnih trakov, gum, plasti\u010dnih folij, nekaterih tekstilnih materialov...<\/h3>

Glede na vrsto materiala, njegovih lastnosti ter zahtev po kon\u010dnem izdelku, se razrez in izsek materialov lahko opravlja z razli\u010dnimi stroji in razli\u010dnimi tehnikami. V grobem govorimo o treh razli\u010dnih na\u010dinih obdelave materialov \u2013 razrez (ang. slitting), izsek (ang. die cutting) in sekanje do podlage (ang. kiss cutting).<\/p>

O razrezu materialov govorimo, ko re\u017eemo celo rolo materiala na manj\u0161e kolute, medtem ko za izsek materiala uporabljamo razli\u010dna orodja, s katerimi izdelek izsekamo iz materiala. Pri sekanju do podlage ravno tako uporabljamo razli\u010dna orodja, vendar v tem primeru materiala ne presekamo popolnoma, temve\u010d samo do dolo\u010dene globine \u2013 obi\u010dajno do nosilnega sloja. V ve\u010dini primerov se za kon\u010dni izdelek uporablja kombinacija vseh treh tehnik. Pred za\u010detkom izdelave se s strankami pogovorimo o na\u010dinu uporabe njihovih izdelkov ter temu primerno izberemo tehniko izdelovanja.<\/p>
